Guenac AFC's Vicente Salamanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Calvo in the 14th minute of play. Arnau Mac Rostie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Ubaldo Matildo Cruchaga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, Guenac AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelado Falleto came free, but Vicente Salamanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arnau Mac Rostie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guenac AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnau Mac Rostie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Cruchaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Salamanca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelado Falleto's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Aburto was the one to do the kick off. Abelado Falleto scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Salamanca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Arnau Mac Rostie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Cruchaga. Manquegua AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnau Mac Rostie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Arnau Mac Rostie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ubaldo Matildo Cruchaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Dargham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vicente Salamanca. Guenac AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ismael Calvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manquegua AFC's Abelado Falleto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Salamanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Calvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Abelado Falleto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
