Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hermelando Mahotiere made the kick off which started today's match. Changal AFC's Serafín Vela shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucián Molinare but with some difficulty. Huilipatagua AFC's Juan Cristóbal Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Claro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Podador Vivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baudelio Alliende struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lucián Molinare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Changal AFC. After 27 played minutes Changal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Isasiguia. The supporters of Changal AFC booed when Huilipatagua AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mónico Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermelando Mahotiere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucián Molinare having to interfere. When Podador Vivar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Huilipatagua AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Podador Vivar couldn't finish the play. Juan Cristóbal Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Claro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Podador Vivar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Huilipatagua AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marcos Kroon hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Baudelio Alliende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucián Molinare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucián Molinare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Mahotiere in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Huilipatagua AFC's Niceto Galmes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Baudelio Alliende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Changal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baudelio Alliende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermelando Mahotiere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermelando Mahotiere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lucián Molinare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Baudelio Alliende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Changal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baudelio Alliende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Hermelando Mahotiere made a precise shot to the right of Lucián Molinare. Huilipatagua AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 86th minute Podador Vivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Claro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Changal AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
