Carlos Manuel Tocornal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rómulo Guillestegui's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After 6 minutes of play, Ninhue's Rufino Andia made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentín Almendras was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 10 in the game by Rufino Andia from a close distance when the talented Quentín Almendras managed to make a qualified save. Pisagua's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Orbegoso in the 12th minute of play forced Ninhue's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Tocornal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ninhue's Arcadio Sirens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentín Almendras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexis Orbegoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Rufino Andia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Quentín Almendras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arcadio Sirens in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Pisagua getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Remicio Celada hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Ninhue got a freekick which was hit by Arcadio Sirens. Visen San Juan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Hermelando Zorrilla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pisagua's Quentín Almendras didn't even have to move. If Arcadio Sirens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Alexis Orbegoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Manuel Tocornal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexis Orbegoso was the one to do the kick off. Arcadio Sirens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Quentín Almendras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rómulo Guillestegui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Carlos Manuel Tocornal made a huge save. If Visen San Juan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Arcadio Sirens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninhue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arcadio Sirens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rufino Andia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Fiamenghi charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Fiamenghi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ninhue's supporters rose to their feet, but Rufino Andia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentín Almendras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arcadio Sirens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rufino Andia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentín Almendras having to interfere.
