The Guailla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alex Mozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Carcuro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Txomin Horta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alex Mozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guailla AFC's goalkeeper Alex Mozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Loncopangue players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guailla AFC were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Carcuro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Txomin Horta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alex Mozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Enrico Carcuro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Txomin Horta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrico Carcuro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moncho Ramos during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute Txomin Horta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Mozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Carcuro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Txomin Horta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loncopangue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Txomin Horta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Loncopangue's Adam Irarrázaval got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Ceandro Malfanti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Enrico Carcuro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Malicet's late challenge caught a Loncopangue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Malicet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guailla AFC's Federico Malicet got a free kick in the 95th minute. Guailla AFC's Alex Mozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Carcuro in the 96th minute of play. The Loncopangue supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guailla AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guailla AFC.
