The tension between the Quilelto FC and the Guallatire AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Alfonso Marambio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Pablo Alegre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Quilelto FC booed when Guallatire AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Besoain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremías Frost's late challenge caught a Quilelto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremías Frost helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Jeremías Frost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Cerilo Lizana Lezana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilelto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cerilo Lizana Lezana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Remigio Labbé fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guallatire AFC's protests and gave Remigio Labbé a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guallatire AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Remigio Labbé hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lorencio Vives in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nazario Lois, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 57 minutes into the match, Quilelto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremías Frost came free, but Pablo Alegre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Juan Alfonso Marambio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Quilelto FC's Pablo Alegre. Pablo Alegre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorencio Aeta placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Quilelto FC's Lorencio Vives got a free kick in the 70th minute. Pablo Alegre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Alfonso Marambio in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jeremías Frost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guallatire AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremías Frost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Alegre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th match minute, Quilelto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frances Popelaire to maneuver through the defense. Jeremías Frost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Alegre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Juan Alfonso Marambio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jeremías Frost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guallatire AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremías Frost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Alegre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guallatire AFC fully deserved thier win.
