Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Caldera's Juan Carlos Galaz in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melocoton's goalie prevented a goal. Leonel Larrarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Ignacio Chacon having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match Nafarroa Tamayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Ignacio Chacon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ceferino Bulnes charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Bulnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Melocoton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Bulnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Bertrán Monasterio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Ignacio Chacon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nahuel Pareja came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Melocoton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nahuel Pareja couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Caldera's Manuel Echenique got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caldera's zone, Isaiás Albrecht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Mazuelas came out of the goal and Isaiás Albrecht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Mazuelas was a little too slow when Juan Cristóbal Gazitúa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. José Ignacio Chacon came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Caldera's Juan Carlos Galaz. But to his dismay, Juan Carlos Galaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Cristóbal Gazitúa was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Nahuel Pareja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Mazuelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Ruminas in the 62nd minute of play forced Caldera's goalkeeper Albino Mazuelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Melocoton's goalkeeper José Ignacio Chacon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Larrarte. Bertrán Monasterio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Albino Mazuelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Cristóbal Gazitúa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Juan Cristóbal Gazitúa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melocoton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Cristóbal Gazitúa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Ignacio Chacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Carlos Galaz in the 69th minute of the match. Nahuel Pareja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Nahuel Pareja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melocoton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nahuel Pareja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Ignacio Chacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Carlos Galaz in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Nahuel Pareja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Mazuelas. Caldera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nahuel Pareja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Albino Mazuelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahuel Pareja in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Caldera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Franco to maneuver through the defense. Melocoton were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caldera for a fine match.
