Odol Isasa's late challenge caught a Maipu United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odol Isasa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Chigualoco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odol Isasa to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Maipu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Tindall to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Odol Isasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Maipu United booed when Chigualoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noé Olmos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Lucero, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Balendín Doebbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Candido Cano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Orden hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Candido Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Maipu United defense, Odol Isasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Macuada. The Maipu United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Macuada should have stopped the shot. After the first half Maipu United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Ventura to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Balendín Doebbel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maipu United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balendín Doebbel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Odol Isasa took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Macuada. Guido Macuada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Candido Mario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Cano having to interfere. Saturnino Lucero kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Noé Olmos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Macuada skillfully saved the ball. Candido Cano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Mario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Candido Mario took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Candido Cano to make any attempt to save it. Luizão da Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Candido Cano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Odol Isasa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Guido Macuada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chigualoco FC. Candido Cano was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Luizão da Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luizão da Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. A hard shot by Balendín Doebbel from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Candido Cano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Luizão da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Cano was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Maipu United were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Chigualoco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernesto Zuburu took the corner.
