Tocontase's Regino Talledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Mario in the 6th minute of play. Regino Talledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Mario, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, José Javier Bisquert made a precise shot to the right of Guido Macuada. Maipu United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A hard shot by Genaro Tindall from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Regino Talledo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 17 minutes of play, Maipu United's Luizão da Rocha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Regino Talledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Regino Talledo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Maipu United's Luizão da Rocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guido Macuada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Mario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Talledo having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Maipu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Orden to maneuver through the defense. Tocontase's Andreo Arnault got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Orden hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Luizão da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Talledo having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Aurelius Gabler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tocontase's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maipu United the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Tocontase:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maipu United:s goal.

Maipu United's Luizão da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Mario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Regino Talledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Luizão da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Regino Talledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Candido Mario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Regino Talledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Aceituno in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balendín Doebbel in the 73rd minute of play forced Tocontase's goalkeeper Regino Talledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Maipu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Orden to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Maipu United's Ernesto Zuburu got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th match minute, Tocontase was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabel Menichetti to maneuver through the defense. Tocontase's Regino Talledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão da Rocha in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Amadeo Aceituno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Regino Talledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Genaro Tindall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Maipu United's zone, Fidelio Massenlli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Macuada came out of the goal and Fidelio Massenlli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maipu United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
