But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leovigildo Atienza couldn't finish the play. Odol Isasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Juan Ignacio Brown was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. The supporters of Chigualoco FC booed when Corahue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Ignacio Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Anselmo Ventura made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Fell. Corahue FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Marcos Serrano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Candido Cano. Chigualoco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sandro Gorostiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sandro Gorostiaga came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Corahue FC fans jumped to their feet.
