Huiscape's Regino Cea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Roldán in the 13th minute of play. Francisco Lapierre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincente Florido's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes Tome AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Jarpa. Vincente Florido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Francisco Lapierre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Lapierre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincente Florido's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Eustaquio Roldán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Cea having to interfere. Aureo Rueda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Regino Cea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tome AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huiscape the free kick. The supporters of Huiscape booed when Tome AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Vincente Florido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Lapierre was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Aureo Rueda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tome AFC's Eustaquio Roldán got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Regino Cea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureo Rueda in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincente Florido made a kick off. Eustaquio Roldán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Cea having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Aureo Rueda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Regino Cea, passed just outside the right post. In the 55th minute Eustaquio Roldán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regino Cea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Huiscape was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeraldo Barrasa to maneuver through the defense. Aureo Rueda took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Regino Cea. Regino Cea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 70 minutes, Aureo Rueda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tome AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureo Rueda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huiscape's Toni Bertrand couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tome AFC. After having played for 75 minutes, Aureo Rueda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tome AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureo Rueda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureo Rueda got free with Regino Cea in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 minutes, Laureano Rivas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huiscape and the Tome AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Huiscape's Laureano Rivas got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Eustaquio Roldán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regino Cea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureo Rueda got free with Regino Cea in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureo Rueda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Regino Cea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Huiscape getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Laureano Rivas hit a great ball.
