A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Gualberto Maggiora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chena AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guacolla AFC the free kick. The supporters of Guacolla AFC booed when Chena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualberto Maggiora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guacolla AFC's Regino Vergara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chena AFC. Xosé Basaure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Goñi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Horacio Jesus Marull was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guacolla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chena AFC the free kick. Xosé Basaure acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ezequiel Recasens. The supporters of Guacolla AFC booed when Chena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Regino Vergara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chena AFC's Ernesto Daniel Saldías didn't even have to move. Adrián Cacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Daniel Saldías having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Horacio Jesus Marull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rigoberto Landoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chena AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Landoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xosé Basaure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Landoff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xosé Basaure was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Guacolla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Goñi came free, but Xosé Basaure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Maximino Arrechea could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Ernesto Daniel Saldías however easily saved by the left post. After 62 played minutes, Guacolla AFC's Regino Vergara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Daniel Saldías came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guacolla AFC reached it. In the 63rd minute, Xulián Aguad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xosé Basaure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Landoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Chena AFC's Ernesto Daniel Saldías proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Chena AFC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Guacolla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Landoff came free, but Xosé Basaure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Daniel Saldías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darío Feyto in the 81st minute of play. Chena AFC's Ernesto Daniel Saldías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Arrechea in the 82nd minute of play. Darío Feyto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Guacolla AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Maximino Arrechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th match minute, Chena AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miren Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Darío Feyto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ernesto Daniel Saldías didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guacolla AFC. Ernesto Daniel Saldías showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Feyto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Rigoberto Landoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Xosé Basaure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
