Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodolfo Valles started the match with the kick off. Rodolfo Valless short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Francisco José Meléndez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 8 minutes into the match, Nahuel Pellegri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco José Meléndez. Quilquico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nahuel Pellegri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Quilquico FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Odón Donaire hit a great ball. A hard shot 14 in the game by Rodolfo Valles from a close distance when the talented Francisco José Meléndez managed to make a qualified save. Quilquico FC's players were relieved. Benito Bisquert took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco José Meléndez. Francisco José Meléndez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Castro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eufemio De la Cruz came free, but Rufino Abumohor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Quilquico FC's goalkeeper Francisco José Meléndez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Valles. Rufino Abumohor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio De la Cruz in the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Castro AFC's Rodolfo Valles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco José Meléndez. Francisco José Meléndez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When Luis Javier Ruedi fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilquico FC's protests and gave Luis Javier Ruedi a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Quilquico FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Javier Ruedi. Eufemio De la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufino Abumohor having to interfere. Rufino Abumohor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odón Donaire in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Eufemio De la Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Quilquico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Valles came free, but Francisco José Meléndez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eufemio De la Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Francisco Soza made a precise shot to the right of Francisco José Meléndez. Quilquico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Bisquert in the 65th minute of play forced Quilquico FC's goalkeeper Francisco José Meléndez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Quilquico FC defense, Francisco Soza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco José Meléndez. The Quilquico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco José Meléndez should have stopped the shot. When Castro AFC's Rodolfo Valles in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilquico FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rufino Abumohor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio De la Cruz in the 74th minute of the match. Quilquico FC's Eufemio De la Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Eufemio De la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilquico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eufemio De la Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Quilquico FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Antonio Lavín. When Benito Bisquert fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castro AFC's protests and gave Benito Bisquert a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Castro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Bisquert. Francisco José Meléndez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Valles in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eufemio De la Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rufino Abumohor. That made the score 5-2 in the 96 minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Castro AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
