The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, one of Quilquen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pere Jordi Verdejo fired a direct hit when he kicked 1-0 on penalty. 12 minutes into the match, Lequena's goal looked a bit too open when Reces Duval came free, but Cosme Garín reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Quilquen got a freekick which was hit by Pinone Vizcaya. In the 17th minute, one of Quilquen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quilquen. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Lequena's Pere Jordi Verdejo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Velasco Godarte. 23 minutes into the match, Lequena's Pere Jordi Verdejo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cosme Garín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabel Sepúlveda in the 26th minute of the match. Fidel Cerda hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Lequena's goal looked a bit too open when Pinone Vizcaya came free, but Cosme Garín reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabel Sepúlveda in the 43rd minute of play forced Lequena's goalkeeper Cosme Garín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Quilquen's Velasco Godarte got control of the ball when Asier Patri tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Nazario Maddaleno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Velasco Godarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Nazario Maddaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reces Duval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cosme Garín made a huge save. After having played for 65 minutes, Xabel Sepúlveda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilquen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabel Sepúlveda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Lequena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Cerda to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Cosme Garín managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Quilquen's Reces Duval fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cosme Garín didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xabel Sepúlveda went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Lequena supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quilquen's performance. The match ended with a win for Quilquen.
