The referee ignored Espejo AFC's protests and gave Nicodemo Frago a yellow card for diving instead. Nicodemo Frago hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Espejo AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Turicapur:s goal. Nauzet Pineda went to the wrong direction when José Javier Hoevel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 11 played minutes Espejo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Casale. Nauzet Pineda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Mantilla in the 14th minute of play. Nauzet Pineda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Alejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Quiñones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodemo Frago in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodemo Frago got free with Gregorio Quiñones in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Turicapur's goalkeeper Gregorio Quiñones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicodemo Frago. When Espejo AFC's Aldo Puelma in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turicapur's goalie prevented a goal. Nauzet Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noé Mantilla in the 37th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Gregorio Quiñones successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Alejo in the 44th minute of play forced Espejo AFC's goalkeeper Nauzet Pineda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodemo Frago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Noé Mantilla in the 55th minute of play forced Espejo AFC's goalkeeper Nauzet Pineda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Humberto Alejo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nauzet Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noé Mantilla in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Espejo AFC's zone, Humberto Alejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nauzet Pineda came out of the goal and Humberto Alejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Espejo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Fanta. Noé Mantilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nauzet Pineda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Humberto Alejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nauzet Pineda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Espejo AFC's Leonides Fanta got a free kick in the 84th minute. Nauzet Pineda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Mantilla in the 85th minute of play. When Espejo AFC's Aldo Puelma in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turicapur's goalie prevented a goal. Espejo AFC were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Turicapur's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Natanael Urquiza took the corner. Natanael Urquiza made a great header on Espejo AFC's corner, it was just that Turicapur's Gregorio Quiñones managed to reach the ball for a save. Nicodemo Frago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Turicapur had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
