In the 6th minute, Horacio Faivovich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eufrasio Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jose Manuel Adaos sped through Ilque AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo. After 15 minutes, Ferrán Echeverría mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oliague and the Ilque AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Ferrán Echeverría hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Narcís Daroch fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oliague's protests and gave Narcís Daroch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Oliague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcís Daroch to maneuver through the defense. Zenón Passi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerónimo Ansaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Oliague's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Ansaldo came free, but Zenón Passi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Faivovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenón Passi having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Gerónimo Ansaldo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Oliague's Zenón Passi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gerónimo Ansaldo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ilque AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerónimo Ansaldo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ilque AFC booed when Oliague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manuel Adaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliague's Zenón Passi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerónimo Ansaldo in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Horacio Faivovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenón Passi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Oliague's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Ansaldo came free, but Zenón Passi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenón Passi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerónimo Ansaldo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Oliague's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Faivovich came free, but Zenón Passi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Belmiro Ballesteros managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrán Echeverría in the 65th minute of play forced Ilque AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Eufrasio Carrillo collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Hermenegildo Godínez charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermenegildo Godínez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ilque AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Oliague a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rubén Guillestegui, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ilque AFC's Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo. 3-1. Oliague's Zenón Passi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Faivovich in the 79th minute of play. Gerónimo Ansaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oliague fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ilque AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
