Juan Ignacio Turres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Elkins in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huiquile AFC's Ferrán Iglesias got a free kick in the 10th minute. Victor Villagrán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Juan Ignacio Turres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Victor Villagrán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Guanaquero FC's Eriberto Keuter got control of the ball when Guntademaro Mauad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guntademaro Mauad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Ignacio Turres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricart Elkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Juan Ignacio Turres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Villagrán in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Huiquile AFC's zone, Ricart Elkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Ignacio Turres came out of the goal and Ricart Elkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alirio Astete kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 54th minute, Filiberto Hamdorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes in the game Seran Boonen after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Juan Ignacio Turres. A very good opportunity. Guanaquero FC's Eriberto Keuter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcides Noria in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes Guanaquero FC got a freekick which was hit by Alirio Astete. Alirio Astete got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Guanaquero FC's Alirio Astete got a free kick in the 68th minute. Huiquile AFC's Guntademaro Mauad got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guanaquero FC's zone, Guntademaro Mauad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Keuter came out of the goal and Guntademaro Mauad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Hernán Pissa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Guanaquero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seran Boonen to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Hamdorf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Keuter. Guanaquero FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcides Noria in the 86th minute of play forced Guanaquero FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Keuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricart Elkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ignacio Turres having to interfere.
