Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xabel Ducci started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Xosé Vial rounded Melado's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureo Tirado got free with Santiago Gavilán in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Xosé Vial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Melado's Edgar Freire got a free kick in the 15th minute. Xosé Vial struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Santiago Gavilán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malalhue. Rogelio Jorge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Gavilán having to make a save. When Rogelio Jorge came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Malalhue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Jorge couldn't finish the play. When Adán Barraza fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melado's protests and gave Adán Barraza a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the match, Malalhue's Paulín Alcázar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Gavilán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Alfonso Mira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Xosé Vial who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melado's Santiago Gavilán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Xosé Vial scored to the left of an out of position Santiago Gavilán, making the score, 2-0. Adán Barraza was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th minute, Adán Barraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xosé Vial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gavilán having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xosé Vial was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Jacinto Escuti managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Melado's Saverio Oses fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saverio Oses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jacinto Escuti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Jorge charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Jorge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melado's Santiago Gavilán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosé Vial in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Melado's zone, Paulín Alcázar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gavilán came out of the goal and Paulín Alcázar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Escuti made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Saverio Oses sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melado's goalkeeper Santiago Gavilán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rogelio Jorge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xosé Vial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Oses sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jacinto Escuti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malalhue fans cheered their team off the field, for while Melado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
