Eufemio Aylwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Urceda having to interfere. Silvio Urceda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Paulín Guardia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 17th playminute. Paulín Guardia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Gavilán having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boanerges FC's zone, Fabián Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Urceda came out of the goal and Fabián Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Abello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvio Urceda. Boanerges FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silvio Urceda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabián Romo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Feliciano Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Feliciano Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabián Romo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Urceda saved Boanerges FC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Pedro Botero to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Pedro Botero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Urceda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabián Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match Eufemio Aylwin climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Silvio Urceda. 67 minutes into the match, Boanerges FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabián Romo came free, but Silvio Urceda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Boanerges FC's Silvio Urceda got control of the ball when Eufemio Aylwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Eufemio Aylwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Fabián Romo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabián Romo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Silvio Urceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talcamavida FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
