Niebla's Candido Fazzini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geofredo Palma in the 22nd minute of play. The corner ended in Marco Aris almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Niebla's Candido Fazzini did a great save. Xamín Rioseco made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Fulgencio Yorgos sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Gredig charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Gredig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Niebla got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Gredig.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geofredo Palma made a kick off. Xamín Rioseco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Babarovic in the 53rd minute of the match. Geofredo Palma might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Fazzini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geofredo Palma ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the game, Aymani FC's Jonatan Langdon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Fazzini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Yorgos in the 63rd minute of play forced Aymani FC's goalkeeper Xamín Rioseco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bautista Babarovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niebla's supporters rose to their feet, but Bautista Babarovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xamín Rioseco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bautista Babarovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xamín Rioseco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Bautista Babarovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xamín Rioseco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Fulgencio Yorgos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aymani FC's zone, Bautista Babarovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xamín Rioseco came out of the goal and Bautista Babarovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Aymani FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aymani FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
