A collision led to Paniquihue FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adán Jáuregui hit a great ball. Leopoldo Plata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geofredo Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Ernesto Daniel Lorie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Plata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geofredo Palma in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geofredo Palma in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Plata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Aymani FC's Jonatan Langdon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Plata. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. A collision led to Aymani FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Geofredo Palma hit a great ball. When Aymani FC's Geofredo Palma in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paniquihue FC's goalie prevented a goal. Xamín Rioseco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtsín Huici, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Geofredo Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Dietert to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Amato Pazols was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paniquihue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aymani FC the free kick. In the 60th minute Jonatan Langdon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Plata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Urtsín Huici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 71 in the game by Urtsín Huici from a close distance when the talented Xamín Rioseco managed to make a qualified save. Aymani FC's players were relieved. When Jonathan Gibbs fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aymani FC's protests and gave Jonathan Gibbs a yellow card for diving instead. Urtsín Huici came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xamín Rioseco could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Dietert in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xamín Rioseco saved Aymani FC from getting behind. Urtsín Huici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xamín Rioseco having to make a save. Xamín Rioseco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Dietert in the 89th minute of the match. The long shot by Benjamín Riffo in the 97th minute really tested Xamín Rioseco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paniquihue FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
