Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Huilqueco's Archibaldo Maffioletti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Archibaldo Maffioletti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huilqueco and the Calabozo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Huilqueco's Archibaldo Maffioletti got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Miguel Hernánde Parada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huilqueco's Francisco Alberto Llano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Miguel Hernánde Parada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calabozo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Hernánde Parada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Dagorret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archibaldo Maffioletti in the 14th minute of play. Miguel Hernánde Parada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Alberto Llano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Hernánde Parada in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Calabozo AFC booed when Huilqueco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quique Patterson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureo Zarricueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Alberto Llano having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Galeas during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Pedro Galeas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28thth minute of the game Aureo Zarricueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huilqueco's Francisco Alberto Llano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Andoni Bustunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huilqueco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andoni Bustunzuria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aureo Zarricueta made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Hernánde Parada got free with Francisco Alberto Llano in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Huilqueco's Rafael Maria Colimán seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Maria Colimán the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Huilqueco protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Maria Colimán had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 60th minute, one of Huilqueco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huilqueco. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Calabozo AFC. Dionisio Salamanca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francisco Alberto Llano. 0-1. Roberto Gebhard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Alberto Llano having to interfere. Miguel Hernánde Parada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Alberto Llano having to make a save. Huilqueco's Andoni Bustunzuria got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calabozo AFC's Aureo Zarricueta got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Huilqueco defense, Miguel Hernánde Parada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Alberto Llano. The Huilqueco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Alberto Llano should have stopped the shot. Andoni Bustunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andoni Bustunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huilqueco's Francisco Alberto Llano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Huilqueco from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Calabozo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
