Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Salvatore Abbott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lander Rosselot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Juan Raúl Hesse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiguayante AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Raúl Hesse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lander Rosselot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Buchupureo AFC's Eber Merino got a free kick in the 8th minute. Juan Raúl Hesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lander Rosselot having to interfere. Ruperto Zañartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelius Patiño in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th minute, Vicente Bolados got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lander Rosselot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvatore Abbott, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Celedonio De Smet d`Olbecke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiguayante AFC and the Buchupureo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celedonio De Smet d`Olbecke hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chiguayante AFC's zone, Aurelius Patiño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Zañartu came out of the goal and Aurelius Patiño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Chiguayante AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelius Patiño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Raúl Hesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lander Rosselot having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Buchupureo AFC's goalkeeper Lander Rosselot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Raúl Hesse. Salvatore Abbott hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ruperto Zañartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Bolados in the 64th minute of play. Vicente Bolados received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ruperto Zañartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lander Rosselot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurelio Skewes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Eber Merino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Zañartu skillfully saved the ball. Buchupureo AFC's Aurelius Patiño got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Eber Merino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buchupureo AFC and the Chiguayante AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chiguayante AFC booed when Buchupureo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eber Merino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvatore Abbott struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lander Rosselot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiguayante AFC. 89 minutes into the match, Chiguayante AFC's Salvatore Abbott sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lander Rosselot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Buchupureo AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Justo Godínez hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvatore Abbott in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lander Rosselot saved Buchupureo AFC from getting behind. The Buchupureo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chiguayante AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chiguayante AFC.
