Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Adrián Dinarte made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lino Teran notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Iquilla's Osvaldo Celada. Osvaldo Celada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Adrián Dinarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Osvaldo Celada managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Estudiantes de Valparaiso's Adrián Dinarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 9th minute, Estudiantes de Valparaiso's Cosme Berendique dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 16th match minute, Iquilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Esteban Santana to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Prieto in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Ferrari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrián Dinarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adrián Dinarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Estudiantes de Valparaiso got a freekick which was hit by Salomón Mofre. After 28 played minutes Estudiantes de Valparaiso got a freekick which was hit by Lino Teran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Prieto in the 29th minute of play forced Estudiantes de Valparaiso's goalkeeper Marciano Ferrari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Estudiantes de Valparaiso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Teran to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Celada came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de Valparaiso's Lino Teran. But to his dismay, Lino Teran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Lino Teran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Adrián Dinarte rounded Iquilla's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerard Prieto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Estudiantes de Valparaiso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Berendique to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Gerard Prieto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iquilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Prieto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Cosme Berendique left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de Valparaiso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Ismael Jara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marciano Ferrari, 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Dinarte in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Celada saved Iquilla from getting behind. Osvaldo Celada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Berendique, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Osvaldo Celada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Dinarte's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Gerard Prieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abraham Palamara came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Estudiantes de Valparaiso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Palamara couldn't finish the play. Iquilla's Osvaldo Celada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Palamara in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that Estudiantes de Valparaiso were the better team. Estudiantes de Valparaiso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
