Honorato Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Bustos in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Guido Gaona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alicahue AFC and the Cardall players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guido Gaona hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Cirilo Bolivar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alicahue AFC's Honorato Cordoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Hollstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Recasens in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Alicahue AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Evaristo Cristi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Quero got free with Santiago Hollstein in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Darien Yanque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manolo Recasens kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Bolivar in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Cordoba saved Alicahue AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Quero got free with Santiago Hollstein in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Bolivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Alicahue AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cardall were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Bustos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Manolo Recasens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alicahue AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manolo Recasens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Recasens in the 57th minute of play forced Cardall's goalkeeper Santiago Hollstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Bustos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Zavaleta kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Recasens in the 77th minute of play forced Cardall's goalkeeper Santiago Hollstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Bolivar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Isaac Quero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Santiago Hollstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureo Formoso hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Recasens in the 83rd minute of play forced Cardall's goalkeeper Santiago Hollstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cardall's Rafael Bustos got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorato Cordoba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Bolivar in the 86th minute. After 91 played minutes Cardall's Cirilo Bolivar stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Honorato Cordoba stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Alicahue AFC of the goal.
