Francisco Miguel Schorr succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. A collision led to SOTISEBA FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Calixto Pallauta hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, SOTISEBA FC's goalkeeper Sonny Brearley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Quero. If Benjamín Bobadilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manolo Recasens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nastasio Borja fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alicahue AFC's protests and gave Nastasio Borja a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Recasens in the 59th minute of play forced SOTISEBA FC's goalkeeper Sonny Brearley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Ariano Aramburu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sonny Brearley skillfully saved the ball. Alicahue AFC's Honorato Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Miguel Schorr in the 72nd minute of play. Benjamín Bobadilla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Honorato Cordoba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 79 minutes into the match, SOTISEBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Recasens came free, but Sonny Brearley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamín Bobadillas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Honorato Cordoba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to SOTISEBA FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Eleuterio Montoya hit a great ball. The Alicahue AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SOTISEBA FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SOTISEBA FC.
