After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Rogelio Cares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devil f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Cares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Cares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concetto Tana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Roldán Mardones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Zebulón Zercalde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devil f.c and the THE THUNDERBOYS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Devil f.c's Zebulón Zercalde got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Rogelio Cares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Jax was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Urbano Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Cares, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Enrique Mariano Riveros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Urbano Jax was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urbano Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Cares in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Cares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Jax was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When Hernán Carson fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE THUNDERBOYS's protests and gave Hernán Carson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Hernán Carson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Cares in the 31st minute of play. Mariano Buche was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. One of THE THUNDERBOYS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Devil f.c:s goal. After 61 minutes, Sergio Ampuero made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Devil f.c's Roldán Mardones tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to THE THUNDERBOYS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hernán Carson hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Devil f.c's Rogelio Cares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Urbano Jax. Urbano Jax yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 72 minutes into the match, Oriol Quero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Jax. THE THUNDERBOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oriol Quero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. With a little luck, THE THUNDERBOYS's Urbano Jax got control of the ball when Enrique Mariano Riveros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, THE THUNDERBOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Cares came free, but Urbano Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Jax made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oriol Quero in the 85th minute. Concetto Tana hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Cares in the 89th minute of play forced THE THUNDERBOYS's goalkeeper Urbano Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Concetto Tana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Fernando Bassenge could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Urbano Jax however easily saved by the left post. Devil f.c's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
