After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Unai Ancavil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Confluencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Unai Ancavil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobías Warner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Oyanedel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Javier Cabedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Unai Ancavil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobías Warner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Confluencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by León Poyancos to maneuver through the defense. Tobías Warner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Boza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Cautinisca got a freekick which was hit by Lucián Astaburuaga. Cautinisca's Tobías Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Ancavil in the 29th minute of play. Unai Ancavil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobías Warner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Jacinto Olarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cautinisca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Confluencia the free kick. Tobías Warner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Boza went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cautinisca's Tobías Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Boza in the 46th minute of play. The Cautinisca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Confluencia were winning 1-2.
An unexpectedly hard shot by José Javier Cabedo in the 51st minute of play forced Confluencia's goalkeeper Gustavo Oyanedel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobías Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Ancavil in the 54th minute of play. Filiberto Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Tobías Warner managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Confluencia's Benito Boza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 61 minutes, Unai Ancavil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Confluencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unai Ancavil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Oyanedel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Javier Cabedo in the 63rd minute of play. Gustavo Oyanedel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Javier Cabedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. José Javier Cabedo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Oyanedel. Gustavo Oyanedel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Unai Ancavil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Benito Boza made a precise shot to the right of Tobías Warner. Cautinisca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Cautinisca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Unai Ancavil scored to the left of an out of position Tobías Warner, making the score, 2-4. In the 87th minute José Javier Cabedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Oyanedel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Oyanedel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Urbano in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, José Javier Cabedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Gustavo Oyanedel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
