After 3 played minutes Huilquilemu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andy Marmolejo. In the 5th match minute, Huilquilemu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Marmolejo to maneuver through the defense. CF Norte Portuario's Diego Labbé couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Huilquilemu AFC. Ondino Granados's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Marmolejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Manu Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Duardo Antonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Frey in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duardo Antonis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ondino Granados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Ubaldo Matildo Arteta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Norte Portuario and the Huilquilemu AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, CF Norte Portuario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Matildo Arteta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ondino Granados in the 37th minute of play forced CF Norte Portuario's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Danél Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes CF Norte Portuario got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Casanueva. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ondino Granados to make the kick off. Danél Oñate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danél Oñate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Huilquilemu AFC's Danél Oñate. But to his dismay, Danél Oñate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 66 minutes into the game, Cerilo Casanueva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF Norte Portuario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huilquilemu AFC the free kick. After 66 played minutes CF Norte Portuario got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Casanueva. After 71 minutes, Ondino Granados made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. CF Norte Portuario's Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to CF Norte Portuario getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ubaldo Matildo Arteta hit a great ball. Ondino Granados scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Frey came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duardo Antonis could save by the left post. Alcides Cano kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes CF Norte Portuario got a freekick which was hit by Urtsín Mac Auliffe. Ondino Granados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cerilo Casanueva got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to CF Norte Portuario getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Cerilo Casanueva hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danél Oñate in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Jacinto Lanas saved CF Norte Portuario from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huilquilemu AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while CF Norte Portuario had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
