The audience was convinced that Andy Marmolejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but León Urizar was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Duardo Antonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loreto Vuskovic in the 13th minute of the match. Huilquilemu AFC's Duardo Antonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loreto Vuskovic in the 17th minute of play. Conchali's León Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ondino Granados in the 20th minute of play. Danél Oñate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without León Urizar having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Ondino Granados notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Conchali's León Urizar. León Urizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Conchali's zone, Danél Oñate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. León Urizar came out of the goal and Danél Oñate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. León Urizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ondino Granados in the 29th minute of play. Ondino Granados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Conchali's Loreto Vuskovic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duardo Antonis. Duardo Antonis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Duardo Antonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loreto Vuskovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huilquilemu AFC! Alesandro Jáuregui placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Duardo Antonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loreto Vuskovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loreto Vuskovic to strike the kick off in the second half. Domenico Guajardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Duardo Antonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Marmolejo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Alcides Cano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loreto Vuskovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Duardo Antonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Huilquilemu AFC's Félix Raheiro got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, Huilquilemu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcides Cano to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conchali's goalkeeper León Urizar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ondino Granados fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without León Urizar having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Andy Marmolejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huilquilemu AFC and the Conchali players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andy Marmolejo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Huilquilemu AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
