Charahue's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaitán Lezaeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamín Pruniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Faille in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Antonio Cabrito in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Manuel Antonio Cabrito made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Abad. Charahue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Benjamín Pruniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitán Lezaeta in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Brunet in the 31st minute of play forced Charahue's goalkeeper Jeronimo Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Vinicio Faille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Conaco AFC's Vinicio Faille nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeronimo Abad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Evaristo Brunet took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Abad. Jeronimo Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaitán Lezaeta was the one to do the kick off. Jeronimo Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Faille in the 51st minute. Vinicio Faille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jeronimo Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaitán Lezaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Conaco AFC's Delmiro Leiva got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gaitán Lezaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charahue's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaitán Lezaeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Antonio Cabrito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Gaitán Lezaeta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charahue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Vinicio Faille recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Conaco AFC defense, Gaitán Lezaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamín Pruniel. The Conaco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamín Pruniel should have stopped the shot. José Alejandro Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamín Pruniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaitán Lezaeta in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Hugo Villamil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conaco AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charahue the free kick. Hugo Villamil hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes of play, Conaco AFC's Manuel Antonio Cabrito made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinicio Faille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
