Aristeo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Horacio Alcalde lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Val Carmona. Itahue's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mauro Chamorro 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. BackOff FC's Horacio Alcalde got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Itahue's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Chamorro came free, but Val Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Val Carmona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Alcalde's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute, Tito Mac Leay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Horacio Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Codina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes BackOff FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Pérez. If Horacio Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mauro Chamorro managed to get in a good position for a shot. BackOff FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Chamorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Val Carmona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Alcalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Val Carmona having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Itahue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Plaza to maneuver through the defense. If Horacio Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Menarte's late challenge caught a BackOff FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Menarte helped the player get up and apologised. 87 minutes into the game, one of Itahue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Val Carmona had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Natanael Boroevic's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcelino Norambuena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio Muñiz in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Itahue's zone, Horacio Alcalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Val Carmona came out of the goal and Horacio Alcalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
