Miquel Barril made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Celino Marinkovic sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Francisco Antonio Verdugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nauzet Raymond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pau Jaras went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Miquel Barril took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermelando Beltrán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nauzet Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Verdugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nauzet Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Verdugo in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Pau Jaras notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cactus FC's Nauzet Raymond. Nauzet Raymond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miquel Barril made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermelando Beltrán in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of COPIAPO booed when Cactus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvino Papic didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Antonio Verdugo to make the kick off. Nauzet Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Verdugo in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Pau Jaras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COPIAPO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nauzet Raymond was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Francisco Antonio Verdugo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Antonio Verdugo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cactus FC's goalkeeper Nauzet Raymond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Hermelando Beltrán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Hermelando Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miquel Barril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Celino Marinkovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute of the match Victoriano Mozo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miquel Barril showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celino Marinkovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miquel Barril having to interfere. Miquel Barril showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermelando Beltrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, COPIAPO's goal looked a bit too open when Hermelando Beltrán came free, but Miquel Barril reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Hermelando Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miquel Barril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermelando Beltrán in the 87th minute of play forced COPIAPO's goalkeeper Miquel Barril to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menéndez Buche kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Francisco Antonio Verdugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nauzet Raymond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Teobaldo Valderrama kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. COPIAPO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
