After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Pedro Manuel Achondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paniahue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Manuel Achondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Podador Eslava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Allison in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Podador Eslava prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Aurora AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Allison came free, but Podador Eslava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Podador Eslava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Allison in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Allison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Podador Eslava was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Sergi Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Olmedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julián Carillanca might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergi Paez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julián Carillanca ran back to his position shaking his head. Podador Eslava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Manuel Achondo in the 66th minute of play. Rodrigo Allison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Podador Eslava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leoncio Jaime was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Paniahue FC booed when Aurora AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leoncio Jaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Leoncio Jaime got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Aurora AFC. If Leoncio Jaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Podador Eslava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Manuel Achondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Allison in the 93rd minute of play forced Aurora AFC's goalkeeper Podador Eslava to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aurora AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paniahue FC.
