Caunao FC's Roldán Sandoval was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alexis Soler might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marino Codina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Tranaman booed when Caunao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidelio Montane didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Caunao FC got a freekick which was hit by Lolo Asendegui. Ondino Mazeira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fidelio Montane charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jose Troncoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Caunao FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
