Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tor Elguea made the kick off which started today's match. Papujune's Barni Rosende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Albarran in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Papujune's Lorenzo Galván got a free kick in the 10th minute. Armando Peacock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Balmaceda having to interfere. The supporters of Illapata booed when Papujune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sisebuto Claude didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Fabricio Ried shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barni Rosende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Giancarlo Albarran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illapata's supporters rose to their feet, but Giancarlo Albarran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barni Rosende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 32 minutes, Giancarlo Albarran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illapata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giancarlo Albarran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tor Elguea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Giancarlo Albarran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Giancarlo Albarran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th match minute, Illapata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Pumarino to maneuver through the defense. When Giancarlo Albarran came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Illapata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giancarlo Albarran couldn't finish the play. Viviano Caroca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Xabier Ubeda fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papujune's protests and gave Xabier Ubeda a yellow card for diving instead. Xabier Ubeda hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Illapata's Fabricio Ried couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Papujune. Papujune's Barni Rosende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Albarran in the 75th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Papujune's Armando Peacock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Balmaceda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giancarlo Albarran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Barni Rosende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barni Rosende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odón Huerta, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Giancarlo Albarran made a precise shot to the right of Barni Rosende. Papujune's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Illapata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
