Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cuenca's Jonathan Belmar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Cuenca's Jonathan Belmar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máximo Willis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonathan Belmar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Máximo Willis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuenca's zone, Adelino Soudre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Viel came out of the goal and Adelino Soudre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rómulo Moran got free with Bernardo Viel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jasone Villalba fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colpita FC's protests and gave Jasone Villalba a yellow card for diving instead. Jasone Villalba hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Filiberto Armando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Bautista Vila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Armando scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máximo Willis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Adelino Soudre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Viel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rómulo Moran in the 41st minute. Rómulo Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lázaro Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Willis having to interfere. Jordi Stillfried's late challenge caught a Colpita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordi Stillfried helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Colpita FC defense, Jonathan Belmar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Willis. The Colpita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Willis should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Viel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rómulo Moran in the 67th minute of the match. Rómulo Moran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute Adelino Soudre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Viel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-4 became the score in the 73rd minute when Adelino Soudre elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute Adelino Soudre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Viel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máximo Willis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Belmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Colpita FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cuenca's performance. The match ended with a win for Cuenca.
