The supporters of Posesion FC booed when Quinquegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Diez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Quinquegua getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lorenzo Bastic hit a great ball. Pedro José Baehr took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Ecija. Adelino Ecija dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Adelino Ecija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Maria Moscoso in the 31st minute of the match. Guillermo Monroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Maas in the 34th minute of play. Jose Maria Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Maas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Monroy having to interfere. Francisco Antonio Mario hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro José Baehr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quinquegua's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Odín Alcalde was slow to take the kick. During this time Posesion FC's players had a chance to rest. Jose Maria Moscoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adelino Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinquegua's Adelino Ecija proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Quinquegua from getting a goal against them. Posesion FC's Guillermo Monroy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Maas in the 66th minute of play. Guillermo Monroy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Bastic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Bastic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Monroy having to interfere. In the 77th minute Isidoro Maas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Monroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Posesion FC's Guillermo Monroy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Maas in the 82nd minute of play.
