After 6 minutes, Odón Ibarrueta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apiau FC and the Poroma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Apiau FC got a freekick which was hit by Odón Ibarrueta. Maximino Maluenda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Malfanti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Droste, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Apiau FC's Odón Ibarrueta got a free kick in the 21st minute. Maximino Maluenda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasone Pan having to make a save. The supporters of Apiau FC booed when Poroma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristeo Epulef didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Apiau FC's zone, Ariel Droste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Malfanti came out of the goal and Ariel Droste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Apiau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Droste came free, but Cornelio Malfanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Poroma's Vincente Segura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Malfanti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Ariel Droste recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Malfanti. Ariel Droste showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cornelio Malfanti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Droste went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Poroma's Jasone Pan got control of the ball when Maximino Maluenda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pío Fontaine hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sebastián Barrasa charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastián Barrasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Poroma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristeo Epulef to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Maluenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasone Pan having to interfere.
