The Nacimiento AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jose Esteban Bessoayn hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Elías Adan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabino Arata was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, Cresenciano Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cozcoz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacimiento AFC the free kick. After 18 played minutes Cozcoz got a freekick which was hit by Cresenciano Melo. Christiano Moñiz, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elías Adan in the 24th minute of play forced Cozcoz's goalkeeper Gabino Arata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabino Arata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitano Celada in the 55th minute of the match. Elías Adan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaitano Celada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabino Arata having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Cozcoz's Jose Esteban Bessoayn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Arens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitano Celada in the 68th minute of play forced Cozcoz's goalkeeper Gabino Arata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaitano Celada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gabino Arata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elías Adans short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Gabino Arata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Gabino Arata managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Nacimiento AFC's Elías Adan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaitano Celada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jose Esteban Bessoayn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elías Adan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Nacimiento AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elías Adan couldn't finish the play. Gabino Arata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaitano Celada, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The nice shot from Elías Adan in the 94thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gabino Arata had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Jose Esteban Bessoayn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Arens came out of the goal and Jose Esteban Bessoayn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
