Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zebulón Rojo started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Posesion got a freekick which was hit by Eufrasio Rufo. In the 6th minute, Zebulón Rojo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Diestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Andoni Babarovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curico-19's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Posesion the free kick. After 13 played minutes Curico-19 got a freekick which was hit by Andoni Babarovic. Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Fernando Zambrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isadoro Maragaño in the 17th minute of play forced Curico-19's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poulus Schlegel's late challenge caught a Posesion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Poulus Schlegel helped the player get up and apologised. Isadoro Maragaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Curico-19 booed when Posesion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Roldán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Posesion's Amadeo Diestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicent Donoso in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Curico-19 booed when Posesion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauro Massú didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zebulón Rojo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amadeo Diestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curico-19's Zebulón Rojo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Fernando Zambrano made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Curico-19 got a freekick which was hit by Mario Alberto Schlegel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Fernando Zambrano in the 52nd minute of play forced Curico-19's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Curico-19 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poulus Schlegel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Curico-19 booed when Posesion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Arbieto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juan Fernando Zambrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Isadoro Maragaño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Posesion's supporters rose to their feet, but Isadoro Maragaño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Fernando Zambrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Juan Fernando Zambrano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curico-19's Leopoldo Jacinto Schorr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Poulus Schlegel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Zebulón Rojo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Diestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Posesion players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
