If Filipo Iriarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Faustino Andraca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 played minutes Yaquil got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Rebolledo. 9 minutes into the match, Caamana's Faustino Andraca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Mackenzie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Caamana's Enmanuel Chirinos got control of the ball when Bayron Basaure tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caamana's goalkeeper Enmanuel Chirinos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aníbal Dubornais kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bayron Basaure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Mackenzie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Andraca, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Filipo Iriarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Mackenzie having to interfere. Bayron Basaure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayron Basaure could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Enmanuel Chirinos made a huge save. Caamana's Enmanuel Chirinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salbatore Lermanda in the 33rd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Yaquil's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Andraca came free, but Roque Mackenzie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Mackenzie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipo Iriarte in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Andraca in the 43rd minute of play forced Yaquil's goalkeeper Roque Mackenzie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Faustino Andraca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caamana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Andraca was the one to do the kick off. Enmanuel Chirinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayron Basaure, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Filipo Iriarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaquil's Roque Mackenzie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Andraca in the 59th minute of play. Enmanuel Chirinos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Yaquil's Salbatore Lermanda. But to his dismay, Salbatore Lermanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Caamana getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Omar Olavarría hit a great ball. If Filipo Iriarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Olavarría during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Caamana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Olavarría to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Yaquil were awarded a corner. Fausto Meckes went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 95 minutes, Filipo Iriarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caamana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipo Iriarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Yaquil supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caamana's performance. The match ended with a win for Caamana.
