Filiberto Dick's late challenge caught a Moraleda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Dick helped the player get up and apologised. Filiberto Dick kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jeraldo Johnson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Filiberto Dick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Paulín Martinic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Evaristo Acasuso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro José Markmann. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 24th minute Desiderio Bardesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulín Martinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonzo Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play Islita's Filiberto Dick was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Moraleda AFC booed when Islita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Dick didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pío Pedemonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pío Pedemonte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro José Markmann having to interfere. Eric Scheid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Moraleda AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Desiderio Bardesi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Moraleda AFC's Saturnín Rencoret got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moraleda AFC's Evaristo Acasuso got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
