But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paco Manquilef couldn't finish the play. Romeo Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lester Elizalde having to interfere. Lester Elizalde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Ignacio Meneses went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of sunylda club booed when Chanchoquin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Besoain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Frick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Valiente Danus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Romeo Frick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Manquilef hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Maurino Falcón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chanchoquin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurino Falcón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to sunylda club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arnaldo Tellez hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Paco Manquilef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Ignacio Sola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, sunylda club's goal looked a bit too open when Maurino Falcón came free, but José Ignacio Sola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurino Falcón was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, sunylda club's goal looked a bit too open when Maurino Falcón came free, but José Ignacio Sola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Ignacio Sola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurino Falcón, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Chanchoquin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Ignacio Meneses came free, but Lester Elizalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
