With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Galaz in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savier Isasa saved El Amarillo Fc from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Aldo Galaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardamo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Modestio Recabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Jaramillo in the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Aldo Galaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardamo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Galaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savier Isasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Cardamo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elodio Bolados fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jordi Fontecilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Cardamo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Vidaurre to maneuver through the defense. Juan Pablo Hesse was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nestor Blest charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Blest the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Nestor Blest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Jaramillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saverio Jaramillo to strike the kick off in the second half. José Francisco Del Fierro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Modestio Recabal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Jaramillo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. If Aldo Galaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Nestor Blest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cardamo FC's Modestio Recabal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Jaramillo in the 63rd minute of play. Cardamo FC's Aldo Galaz got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Aldo Galaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardamo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Galaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Savier Isasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Galaz's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Aldo Galaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Amarillo Fc's Savier Isasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modestio Recabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Jaramillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Elodio Bolados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jordi Fontecilla during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cardamo FC booed when El Amarillo Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordi Fontecilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Galaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savier Isasa having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cardamo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
