Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loreto Puelma started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Marcelo Grez in the 4th minute of play forced Tracalpulli FC's goalkeeper Barni Sáez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, José Marcelo Grez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quinicabe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Marcelo Grez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Batista Bassenge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tracalpulli FC's Barni Sáez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Quinicabe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loreto Puelma came free, but Romeo Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Loreto Puelma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Aguiar. Loreto Puelma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Tracalpulli FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Marcelo Grez came free, but Barni Sáez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loreto Puelma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Aguiar having to interfere. Loreto Puelma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tracalpulli FC's zone, José Marcelo Grez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barni Sáez came out of the goal and José Marcelo Grez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Barticciotto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes in the game, Batista Bassenge dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, José Marcelo Grez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quinicabe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Marcelo Grez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When José Marcelo Grez came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Quinicabe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Marcelo Grez couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tracalpulli FC's goalkeeper Barni Sáez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batista Bassenge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barni Sáez having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Marcelo Grez to strike the kick off in the second half. Emilio Barticciotto kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tracalpulli FC's Barni Sáez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Marcelo Grez in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Loreto Puelma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerard Socias kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The corner led to Tracalpulli FC's Eufemio Noti getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Quinicabe FC booed when Tracalpulli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Barticciotto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tracalpulli FC's Barni Sáez got control of the ball when Batista Bassenge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Emilio Barticciotto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tracalpulli FC's zone, José Marcelo Grez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barni Sáez came out of the goal and José Marcelo Grez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batista Bassenge might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barni Sáez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batista Bassenge ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Quinicabe FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
