Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arturo Valdés got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Huachipato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xamín Ortuzar came free, but Tancredo Malherbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Valdés received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Teodor Madsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Hualqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriel Word to maneuver through the defense. If Arturo Valdés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hualqui FC's Teodor Madsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Hualqui FC from getting a goal against them. When Anacleto Leal fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hualqui FC's protests and gave Anacleto Leal a yellow card for diving instead. Anacleto Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Teodor Madsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Valdés in the 28th minute of the match. Teodor Madsen was a little too slow when Arturo Valdés got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. Tancredo Malherbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Hualqui FC's Xamín Ortuzar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tancredo Malherbe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Juliano Moxo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huachipato FC's protests and gave Juliano Moxo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Huachipato FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Juliano Moxo hit a great ball. Jesus Langdon struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tancredo Malherbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hualqui FC. Xamín Ortuzar struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tancredo Malherbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hualqui FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xamín Ortuzar to make the kick off. Xamín Ortuzar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Malherbe having to interfere. When Huachipato FC's Romelio Tacull in 57 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Teodor Madsen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Romelio Tacull sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hualqui FC's Teodor Madsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelio Tacull in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Romelio Tacull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Madsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Romelio Tacull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Valdés sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Hualqui FC's Tancredo Malherbe threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xamín Ortuzar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xamín Ortuzar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodor Madsen came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Huachipato FC's Florentino Cataldo. But to his dismay, Florentino Cataldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hualqui FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
