Orlando Hernández didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abundio Ventura went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 15 played minutes Hualcuna got a freekick which was hit by Plácido Lobillo. Manuel Urriola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leopoldo Jacinto Mauad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Hualcuna got a freekick which was hit by Abundio Ventura. In the 21st minute Manuel Urriola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Jacinto Mauad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moncopulli AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Hernández, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Moncopulli AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jacob Mayol hit a great ball. The supporters of Hualcuna booed when Moncopulli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurín Felice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balendín Caso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Orlando Hernández tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abundio Ventura in the 36th minute of play forced Moncopulli AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Abundio Ventura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Hernández was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Moncopulli AFC's Orlando Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abundio Ventura in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Urriola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Plácido Lobillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Hualcuna's Orlando Hernández threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Balendín Caso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Abundio Ventura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moncopulli AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Balendín Caso 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moncopulli AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Hernández, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Hualcuna fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Hualcuna's Abundio Ventura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mannuel Kowalesko in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Jacinto Mauad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurín Felice kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Orlando Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balendín Caso in the 90th minute of the match. Abundio Ventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
