With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Rogers in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Manuel Demartis saved Chiguayante from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, Chiguayante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Ferari to maneuver through the defense. Jose Manuel Demartis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriol Orellana, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Candido Hermua kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Podador Partarrieu came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Chiguayante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Podador Partarrieu couldn't finish the play. Podador Partarrieu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Desiderio Zumelzu firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Oriol Orellana sped through Chiguayante's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Manuel Demartis. Podador Partarrieu struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Desiderio Zumelzu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiguayante. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Rogers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Justino Rogers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Manuel Demartis. Justino Rogers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 56th minute, Jonatan Alzaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Rogers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Manuel Demartis. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Chiguayante's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Rogers came free, but Jose Manuel Demartis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Justino Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Muermos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Rogers couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Grillo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Chiguayante's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justino Rogers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Desiderio Zumelzu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Podador Partarrieu in the 78th minute of play. Jonatan Alzaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iván Luis Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Renato Calvetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Chiguayante's Jasone Cáceres got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Oriol Orellana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jose Manuel Demartis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oriol Orellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Manuel Demartis having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Muermos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
