The referee ignored Muermos's protests and gave Arnaldo Grillo a yellow card for diving instead. Mannuel Kowalesko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Desiderio Zumelzu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oriol Orellana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Orlando Hernández made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Urriola made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Muermos's goalkeeper Desiderio Zumelzu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mannuel Kowalesko. Muermos's Iván Luis Moran got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Iván Luis Moran off the ground. When Mannuel Kowalesko came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Moncopulli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mannuel Kowalesko couldn't finish the play. Mannuel Kowalesko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Moncopulli AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
