Orlando Brieba hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Seguel's Alirio Huaquil in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quinterguen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Quinterguen FC's Baraquiel Besoain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Quinterguen FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Seguel getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Theobald Ochagavia hit a great ball. Florentino Amorini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Estevan Benito. Seguel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Seguel's Martin Briones shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Baraquiel Besoain but with some difficulty. After 31 minutes, Hernán Murdoch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quinterguen FC and the Seguel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Quinterguen FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Murdoch. With his leg Baraquiel Besoain managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Seguel's Cirilo Demanet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Seguel booed when Quinterguen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernán Murdoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cirilo Demanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alirio Huaquil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baraquiel Besoain having to make a save. Alirio Huaquil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Baraquiel Besoain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epifanío Jorquera made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanío Jorquera in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Estevan Benito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernán Murdoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Estevan Benito having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Seguel's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanío Jorquera came free, but Juan Estevan Benito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Estevan Benito made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Nestor Blanc sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Quinterguen FC's zone, Alirio Huaquil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baraquiel Besoain came out of the goal and Alirio Huaquil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baraquiel Besoain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Demanet's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Alirio Huaquil struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Baraquiel Besoain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seguel. In the 70th minute Cirilo Demanet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraquiel Besoain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Hilario Berguecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Seguel's Juan Estevan Benito got control of the ball when Nestor Blanc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hilario Berguecio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Berguecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Hilario Berguecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanío Jorquera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Seguel's Lois Ceron got a free kick in the 87th minute. Xalvador Charlin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Seguel's Eloi Bastidas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Alirio Huaquil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baraquiel Besoain was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Alirio Huaquil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Baraquiel Besoain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
